Wideband Dipole

STAR-H's signature line of optimized extremely wide bandwidth (”Double Egg-Beater”) antennas provide a superior solution for communications or measurement and testing systems requiring large instantaneous bandwidths with very flat impedance requirements. By using computer optimization techniques, STAR-H engineers were able to design a unique wideband dipole antenna with low VSWR, high efficiency, and lightweight rugged construction.

STAR-H carries a line of accessories to make carrying, setting up, and installing your ultra-wideband antennas easy. Developed from experience in the field and in cooperation with the needs of our customers, these accessories are designed with you in mind.

Carrying Bags

For an economical, light-weight solution for storing and carrying our ulta-wideband antennas without the need for extreme ruggedness and air transport requirements, consider nylon carrying bags. These carrying bags are hand-crafted in the United States to survive adverse environments and provide moderate protection, and they are available in both black and olive drab color.

Bags include additional internal space and accessory pockets for carrying extra hardware and reserve parts for the unlikely event that the antenna needs repair. Bags also include identification tags and holders for quick reference and storage.

For the 30-90 MHz antenna, the antenna is placed in the bag disassembled, and only the quick-release field version may be stored in these bags. For other frequencies, the antenna is stored assembled.

Leveraging its Custom Antenna Engineering capabilities, STAR-H is able to quickly tailor its wideband dipole antennas to customer needs. The standard frequency ranges offered in our catalog cover most typical frequencies, but we realize the ever-changing needs of high performance radio systems and are willing to make sure our products meet your demands. Not only is STAR-H capable of expanding or focusing its wideband diple antennas to specific frequencies, but they can also be modified for special applications, such as low visibility requirements.

We routinely configure and optimize our systems for different frequencies on-demand, and because of our experience and in-house processes and algorithms, we are able to do so with minimal additional cost and effort. Our flexible systems are adaptable, preventing the need to begin "from scratch" with each new frequency band.
